Often we advice a person to be patience on the situation
that their currently going through. And sometimes you get this funny feeling
about that advice because you were not going through the situation that person
going through. On the receiving part, that person will either listen to your advice and change or listen
to your advice and continue to listen. In life, we often face situation
where our patience being put to test. The best part came when we try to ask “Where
is my limit?” the question you should not ask to yourself but instead think
about it. When you ask, you tend to set a point of your limit. Meaning “I will
get angry if he/she do like that”. These show that we set a point where we
wanted to be angry although we know we can still hold onto it.
The world ain’t all
Sunshine and Rainbows…
Let Tikus tell you that, this world ain’t all Sunshine and
Rainbows everyday as we live in the MEAN and NASTY WORLD. Admit it! You will
not face a happy situation everyday neither the worse. We live in a world that
include different people and not to mention different attitude. With different
people living this earth, it makes us very unique. Beside if we were created by
God with the same attitude/characteristics then the world would be easy but we
would not grow and learning in every single day that we breath. These
differences indicate that we have different limit of patience and when we get
angry, we tend to blame people. “If he/she would not do that”, “His/her the one
that started everything” and goes on. But do we need to blame each other for
putting/test our patience to the limit? YES, NO or MAYBE and start to think
back situation where you were not suppose to get angry but yet you do.
Don’t put into test…
Let us get back to the question of “Where is my limit?” Do
we or people need to know where our limit is? Yes but do people have the right
to put it into test, No Tikus think. Exactly WHY?? Simple reason, because a
person itself doesn’t even know where his/her limit of patience or he/she
simply has a high limitation. But we have no right to put people patience into
TEST because we don’t even know the limitation of that person. But if we
already put someone patience into test (with or without intention), see the
result and think back “Where is the limit?”.
P/S: If you are tempted to lose patience with another, stop and think how patience God has been with you.
